Delivering an Annual Report of the Year

An integrated partnership

Black Sun works closely with Coca-Cola HBC, the leading strategic bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company. Since working with Coca-Cola HBC on its award-winning Integrated Annual Report for five years, we have grown into a multi-channel strategic partnership supporting with a range of communications projects:

What it takes to deliver

We have worked with Coca-Cola HBC for the past 5 years to produce its Integrated Annual Report - which was voted Annual Report of the Year at the Corporate and Financial awards.

In 2019, Coca-Cola HBC launched a new purpose, vision and strategy, which provided an exciting communications opportunity to launch in the Integrated Annual Report. The report, What it takes to deliver, 24/7 communicates how Coca-Cola HBC’s bold portfolio, passionate people, investment in innovation and commitment to sustainability drives the company to deliver on its new vision to be the leading 24/7 beverage partner.

 

A vision for the future

The new strategy and purpose is visually presented throughout the report, from content and structure to design – using new branding elements and fresh photography from a recent photoshoot we commissioned across several markets.

Extending the story

We extended the story to online, with an engaging one-page scrolling online annual report and a film which brings to life what it takes to deliver, 24/7.

Social media and intranet assets drive key stakeholders to the report from different channels – and further promote the report and 24/7 story to a broader audience. 

Capturing the magic of Coca-Cola HBC                    

We have worked with Coca-Cola HBC in the last few years to capture a range of new photography across a variety of Coca-Cola HBC’s markets including Russia, Nigeria, Italy and Greece. With the 24/7 vision in mind, we art directed, planned and commissioned our preferred photographer to capture moments and products around the clock, along with a range of stakeholders from consumers and customers, suppliers, communities and employees – in bottling plants and in offices. 

Internal communications support

We’ve worked with Coca-Cola HBC over the last two years to plan and create its annual Health & Safety Week – including the development of an overarching theme, production of assets including banners, film and posters, and supporting the team in the roll-out of the campaign across 28 markets.

We’ve also worked with the internal communications team on other collateral such as film work on the intranet, and promotional banners for the Integrated Annual Report.
