Inchcape is a global company, with its workforce dispersed across many territories and working in many different environments from offices to distribution hubs and showrooms.
As part of the company strategy to promote working smarter, Inchcape wanted to create a new generation of intranet that was focussed on enabling closer working and collaboration, as well as a global communications tool.
As a longstanding communications partner, Black Sun worked with Inchcape to define the scope of the project and ensure that the technology could deliver on the strategic objectives of creating a communications and collaboration portal that connected all colleagues across the 26 territories.
Discovery workshops elicited the key business requirements, technological requirements and explored what content and features would ensure high levels of employee engagement.
