Terms and Conditions

Terms of payment
Full payment via Visa or MasterCard is required prior to the Course and is subject to applicable VAT or other applicable taxes.
Final submission of payment and registration for the course is your acknowledgement of accepting the Black Sun Limited and BSBPCA terms and conditions.

Information & advisement
The Participant shall at its cost seek confirmation from their auditors, legal advisors and any other advisers as necessary before taking any action which relies upon the content of any material covered in training, Course materials prescribed and/ or published by the reporting framework, or other data, information or advice provided to it by Black Sun and it’s applicable third-party partnerships. Black Sun Limited and the Black Sun Best Practice Communications Academy (BSBPCA) does not accept responsibility for loss caused by any person or organisation which acts, or refrains from acting without seeking such confirmation.

Accreditation policy
Accreditation is not guaranteed and will be governed by the accredited party at their discretion upon verification by Black Sun Limited and its third-party partnerships that the Participant has sufficiently achieved the outcomes required by the accreditation agreement.

Pricing policy
Unless explicitly communicated as part of the advertised costs, any travel and expenses incurred by the Participant when attending the Course(s) are not included in the registration price.
The published price of the Course upon registration is subject to change up until booking confirmation and does not reflect pricing for Course(s) that may be advertised or offered in the future, or a Course(s) that may be offered on a bespoke level, in-house or onsite to an individual organisation.

Registration & cancellation policy
Any Participant cancelling prior to 21 working days before the Course will receive a full refund, less administration fees which equate to any costs incurred by Black Sun as a result of the cancellation.
Any Participant cancelling within 21 working days of the course  will not be eligible for a refund, however a substitute Participant is welcome, providing they adhere to our right to refuse.
All cancellations must be made in writing to the BSBPCA and will be acknowledged by the Academy Manager.
If our minimum participant requirements are not met, Black Sun Limited has the right to cancel the Course and offer a full refund to registered participants. For group bookings of a single organisation, Black Sun Limited reserves the right to cancel the Course if the minimum attendance or spend requirements are not met in terms of registered participants.
Black Sun Limited reserves the right to refuse Participants for reasons relating to licensing restrictions, competitive advantage, lack of Participants and other similar situations at their total discretion.

Course content & intellectual property policy
Black Sun Limited reserves the right to make changes to the training Course(s), speakers and/or qualified trainers without prior notice.
Course materials, handouts, slides, presentations, trademarks, copyrights and logos are solely owned by Black Sun Limited and its licensed partners and consultants as per Black Sun Limited’s third-party agreements or contracts. This includes licensed materials of the IIRC as part of the IIRC licensed Black Sun Limited training partnership and/or related entities as part of Black Sun Limited’s BSBPCA. None of these materials should be reproduced (electronically or otherwise), shared, distributed or sold without prior and approved consent by Black Sun Limited and all affiliated third parties as applicable. All use of Course materials outside of the original delivery method requires explicit approval from Black Sun Limited, and where relevant, the IIRC and their licensed consultants, and any third party partnerships as part of the Course. Additional requests or copies for Course materials may incur an additional cost.
